New Age vs. Scriptural Truth

New Age religion ideas present a message that detours from The Truth.

The Bible makes clear and in detail, those items that can be classified as the Occult.  Unfortunately, much of New Age and it’s teachings fall under this category.  The scripture below provides some description of what falls under the category of The Occult and it’s many synonyms.   The passage is from Deuteronomy 18:9-13 and it provides instruction to God’s people as they enter the promised land after their 40 years of wandering in the desert due to their disobedience to God:

“Deuteronomy 18:9-13 – Occult Practices

⁹ When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. ¹⁰ Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, ¹¹ or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. ¹² Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD; because of these same detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. ¹³ You must be blameless before the LORD your God.”

We understand, that because of our commitment to publish only The Truth on this site,  that inflammatory persecution toward us is inevitable.  If it is done with a reasonable verbal tongue if you will, we will certainly entertain comments. ¹ Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. ² Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.

We take this Truth to heart.  We will never try to judge anyone or any work we peruse.  However, when we discover that those items we have heard or read deviate/distort/profane “The Truth” as given to us in Scripture;  we will do our best to point this out clearly, with Scripture and without Watered Down, Seeker Sensitive, Politically Correct verbiage
